PAHB Request Procedures

This information is for PAHB Departments to use as reference.

Any UMBC unit inquiring about the use of any UMBC space should be directed to submit a request through 25Live

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • This procedure list is applicable for the UMBC community only. Any external inquiries about renting PAHB space should be directed to PAHBEvents@umbc.edu
  • All requests for the use of PAHB spaces are to be submitted to 25live for review. PAHB Departments should not directly approve any requests for use of PAHB Performance spaces
  • PAHB departments are responsible for ensuring that departmental events are accurately reflected in 25live

PERFORMANCE & EVENT SPACES

Proscenium Theatre (103), Black Box (127), Concert Hall (144), Dance Cube (337), PAHB Atrium
  • All requests for the use of PAHB performance and event spaces are to be submitted to 25live for review. PAHB Operations will confirm space availability with the appropriate departments and review technical and staffing requirements prior to approving or denying your request through 25live
  • Approved technical requirements and staffing will be provided by PAHB Operations
  • PAHB departments are responsible for ensuring that all departmentally scheduled use of these spaces is accurately reflected in 25live

PUBLIC AREAS

PAHB Atrium, Forum, Terrace, Concert Hall Lobby 1st Floor, Concert Hall Lobby 2nd Floor
  • All requests for the use of PAHB public areas are to be submitted to 25live for review
  • Approved requests grant you priority use of the space. It is recommended that you put out signs the day of the event notifying others that the space will be in use
  • Approved technical requirements and staffing will be provided by PAHB Operations

LECTURE HALL PAHB132

  • 25live requests for the PAHB Lecture Hall cannot be approved until approximately 2 weeks after the beginning of term when the academic hold on the space is removed by the Registrar’s office
  • All requests for the use of the PAHB Lecture Room are to be submitted to 25live for review by CAHSS Operations
  • AV support for for academic use of this space is provided by AV services. Please call x52461 for any issues that arise

DEPARTMENT CONTROLLED STUDIOS & LABS

Ancient Studies (233), Dance (231, 355), Music (140, 141, 151, 157), Theatre (102, 105)
  • All requests for the use of department controlled PAHB spaces are to be submitted to 25live for review. CAHSS Operations will confirm room availability with the appropriate departments and approve or deny each request through 25live
  • Approved technical requirements and staffing will be provided by CAHSS Operations unless the primary department’s specialized staff is required
  • PAHB departments are responsible for ensuring that all departmentally scheduled use of these spaces is accurately reflected in 25live

DEPARTMENT/CAHSS CONTROLLED CLASSROOMS & WRITING LABS

Ancient Studies (441), English (314, 317, 318), Philosophy (229), Theatre (201), CAHSS (PAHB230)
  • All requests for the use of department controlled PAHB spaces are to be submitted to 25live for review. CAHSS Operations will confirm room availability with the appropriate departments and approve or deny each request through 25live
  • AV support for these spaces is provided by AV services. Please call x52461 for any issues that arise
  • PAHB departments are responsible for ensuring that all departmentally scheduled use of these spaces is accurately reflected in 25live

PAHB CONFERENCE ROOMS

Dresher Center (216), Music (246), Theatre/Dance (319), English (428), Philosophy (456)
  • All requests for the use of department controlled PAHB spaces are to be submitted to 25live for review. CAHSS Operations will confirm room availability with the appropriate departments and approve or deny each request through 25live
  • AV support for these spaces is provided by AV services. Please call x52461 for any issues that arise

REGISTRAR CONTROLLED CLASSROOMS

107, 108, 123, 124, 234
  • All requests for the use of PAHB registrar controlled classrooms are to be submitted to 25live for review
